WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Product Development Manager within our knitwear team at the Stockholm head office you will contribute to the development of high-end quality collections for knitwear product category in line with company standards and business goals for quality cost sustainability and delivery.

As Product Development Manager you will:

• Drive the development of premium collections aligned with quality cost sustainability and delivery goals
• Manage the end-to-end development process
• Source and research materials to meet design briefs and sustainability targets
• Attend fittings and provide expert input on quality fit and construction
• Lead costing and margin analysis supporting negotiation strategies
• Allocate styles to suppliers based on capabilities standards and pricing
• Maintain accurate product data and BOMs in PLM systems
• Monitor seasonal development budgets and ensure cost control
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and conduct on-site visits as needed
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to meet product requirements

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

• Academic degree from fashion and or textile education
• Minimum 5 years experience within product development preferably from high-end fashion brands
• Hands on experience developing garments in knitwear
• Highly skilled in MS Office especially Excel
• Solid costing and negotiation skills
• Experience with PLM systems (a plus)
