Job Summary

- Base salary range: $83212 $92.231 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Australian Centre for Geomechanics (ACG) is a multi-disciplinary joint venture and UWA Research Centre which provides professional education training and research services to the mining sector in the disciplines of underground open pit and environmental mining geomechanics. The overall aim of the Centre is to improve mine safety and productivity.
ACGs main activities are applied mining industry research and the facilitation of continuing education and training through courses and conferences. Technology transfer from research outcomes through publications training courses and training materials is an important part of the ACGs mandate.
About the opportunity
- Your role provides high-level administrative event and finance support within a small flexible team ensuring smooth operations across events client and data management and financial processes.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration finance or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant experience in an administrative and finance support role including working knowledge of accounting principles and applications.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 particularly Excel Teams and Outlook (including calendar management).
- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies willingness to learn UWA and ACG specific systems and a process improvement mindset.
