This role offers a qualified accountant the chance to independently manage core finance functions within a scaling professional services firm. You will oversee general ledger payroll tax compliance and month-end processes ensuring financial accuracy and control. This is a pivotal position for someone ready to drive financial operations and contribute to a growing business.

What you will do:

Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
Support comprehensive month-end and year-end processes including accruals and financial reporting.
Manage UK payroll calculate quarterly sales commissions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

The ideal candidate:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with in-practice training at a mid-tier accountancy firm.
Proficient in Excel / G-Sheets and experienced with cloud-based accounting systems.
Solid understanding of UK payroll VAT and statutory finance requirements with strong technical knowledge of management accounting.
