The role
The Head of People will build lead and execute the entire People strategy at Bluethrone - from recruitment to onboarding to performance systems - all deeply tied to business priorities operational excellence and talent quality.
(currently were a team of 73 ppl)
This is not a traditional HR role. We are looking for someone who understands that People is a business function not an administrative or lovey-dobey one.
We can only grow through people.
And thats why you must have proven experience in Tier 1 talent recruitment.
(not just spraying and praying with LinkedIn positions)
Someone who knows how high-performing tech companies with a business-first approach operate who can implement real systems and who can shape a culture built on excellence accountability and extreme ownership.
You will design and execute a People roadmap that attracts Tier 1 talent builds a crystal-clear performance culture and enables a fully remote global team to operate with speed clarity and alignment.
This is a high-impact hands-on leadership position working directly with the CEO and department heads to ensure HR is a growth engine - not a bottleneck.
How youll create impact
People Strategy & Leadership
- Build and own the full People function end-to-end: hiring onboarding performance culture and people operations.
- Introduce standards systems and mindsets of high-performing profitable tech companies.
- Ensure People operations are tightly aligned with business goals profitability and organizational execution.
- Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to drive company-wide people strategy.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Excellence
- Build a Tier-1 recruitment engine that consistently brings A-players to the table.
- Implement scalable repeatable hiring processes and assessments tailored to Bluethrones high bar.
- Lead recruitment for all departments with a focus on speed quality and cultural fit.
- Build talent pipelines across roles markets and disciplines.
Remote Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Design and implement world-class remote onboarding that accelerates employees to productivity and cultural alignment.
- Build training enablement and continuous learning programs that support a fast-moving organization.
- Maintain a healthy high-ownership remote culture without bureaucracy or micromanagement.
Performance Systems & Measurement
- Build and maintain clear performance frameworks KPIs and measurement systems across the company.
- Establish a strong performance culture based on clarity accountability and business contribution.
- Manage performance cycles promotions talent reviews and calibration conversations.
- Develop mechanisms for identifying and nurturing top talent.
People Operations & Offboarding
- Upgrade and optimize existing HR processes systems and infrastructure.
- Lead clean fast and professional offboarding processes when required.
- Ensure compliance documentation and smooth operations across a fully remote global organization.
What sets you up for success
- Experience as Head of HR / People Lead / HR Manager in a tech organization where HR is deeply tied to business outcomes profitability and scale.
- Proven ability to build or upgrade talent acquisition onboarding training and performance systems.
- Strong operational mindset: data-driven structured decisive and not soft HR.
- Deep business orientation - understanding of profitability operations growth levers and resource planning.
- Experience leading HR in remote-first or global distributed teams.
- Exceptional communication skills in remote settings.
- Ability to partner directly with senior leadership and department heads.
