Job Summary

Role: Data Analyst & Modeler.

Location: Austin TX Or Dallas TX (Onsite).

Duration: Long Term Contract.

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst & Modeler to analyze business data requirements develop and optimize analytical data models and automate database schema generation. This role involves deep engagement with SQL optimization metadata management and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business teams to identify and document data needs.
Design develop and integrate analytical data models primarily focusing on star schema designs.
Automate DDL creation from Erwin physical models and optimize existing database definitions.
Review and validate data models developed by peers to ensure consistency and performance.
Conduct detailed data analysis to identify Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Maintain and update data catalog metadata for governance and compliance.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years experience in logical and/or physical data modeling with emphasis on star schemas.
Expert proficiency in data modeling tools especially Erwin.
Strong data analysis skills with advanced SQL optimization expertise.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform particularly BigQuery.
Familiarity with version control using GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
Experience with Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) is a plus.
