We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Domain Architect to design govern and optimize enterprise data domains that support scalable analytics data integration and business intelligence this fully remote role you will define data domain models ensure data consistency and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with organizational strategy.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in data architecture strong governance knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into well-structured secure and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise data domain architecture aligned with business and analytics objectives
Design conceptual logical and physical data models across assigned data domains
Establish data standards naming conventions metadata and domain-specific governance rules
Collaborate with data engineering analytics security and business teams to ensure data alignment and usability
Guide the integration of data domains across systems platforms and cloud environments
Ensure data quality consistency lineage and integrity across the data lifecycle
Support master data management (MDM) reference data and metadata initiatives
Evaluate and recommend data architecture tools technologies and best practices
Provide architectural guidance for data pipelines warehouses lakes and lakehouse environments
Document data architectures domain definitions and technical specifications
Required Qualifications
Must reside in the United States
Must possess a valid government-issued ID (e.g. U.S. Passport Drivers License or State ID)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems or a related field (Masters preferred)
5 years of experience in data architecture data modeling or enterprise data design
Strong expertise in data domain-driven design dimensional modeling and relational data modeling
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data platforms such as Snowflake Redshift BigQuery or Azure Synapse
Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP)
Strong understanding of data governance metadata management and data quality frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing domain-oriented or data mesh architectures
Familiarity with MDM tools and metadata/catalog platforms
Knowledge of data security privacy and regulatory requirements (HIPAA GDPR SOC 2 etc.)
Experience supporting analytics BI and machine learning use cases
Background working in large-scale or enterprise environments
