Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team. This full-time hybrid role is based in Vinings/Atlanta GA with flexibility for remote work 3-4 days a week once established. The Senior Account Executive will primarily be responsible for working closely with the sales team on new business while also maintaining select current accounts. They will communicate effectively with their Producer maintain strong client relationships assist clients with policy renewals and claims processing and provide expert advisement on insurance solutions. The role also involves coordinating with underwriters ensuring timely policy changes and delivering exceptional customer service to meet client needs.
Duties & Responsibilites
- Communicate consistently with Producers
- Initiate correspondence with the marketplace
- Act as a contact with vendors to ensure proper processing of requests necessary to effectively maintain the clients insurance program
- Maintain positive client relationship and have the ability to analyze situations make reasonable decisions and follow-through.
- Begin to demonstrate a consultative ability to instruct and guide the client
- Manage upcoming deadlines and events informing and updating the Producer as needed.
- Manage Accounts Receivables Direct Billing and Invoices
- Responsible for ensuring the following are accomplished (via yourself and/or delegation to assistant):
- Create Acord applications including Supplementals as needed for submissions to Marketing Department and/or carriers.
- Create and complete Schedules of Values
- Prepare Loss Summaries
- Prepare proposals for renewal terms
- Issue Acord Insurance Certificates for renewal terms
- Initiate Premium Finance Requests
- Prepare Schedules of Insurance for delivery to client
- Prepare policies for delivery to client
- Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports
- Identify and resolve Accounting discrepancies
- Create requests for changes to clients coverages
- Process email and phone requests on daily basis
- Prepare Acord applications
- Prepare documents for renewal terms including Insurance Proposals Acord Insurance Binders and Certificates of Insurance
- Adhere to document retention software documentation guidelines
- Perform Quality check and control on insurance policies in their entirety
Qualifications
- 10 years in Real Estate insurance account management.
- Strong relationship management and client service skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
- Expertise in insurance policy management including renewals claims processing and coverage assessments.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex insurance information clearly.
- Proficiency in insurance industry systems and tools with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge or prior experience in property and casualty insurance is preferred particularly with apartment or real estate portfolios.
- Experience with Insurance Agency Management Systems preferably EPIC.
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Risk Management or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment based in Vinings GA.
