Why This Role Rocks

Reporting to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs youll be part of the team that keeps Megaport connected and compliant with telecommunications regulations around the world. This role is a great fit for a paralegal or compliance professional looking to grow their career in a fast-moving global tech company. Youll work closely with our Regulatory Compliance Officer to stay on top of telecoms obligations and support Megaports continued expansion.

What Youll Be Owning

Support the Regulatory Compliance Officer in running Megaports telecommunications compliance program and keeping us on track globally.
Research and document regulatory requirements for new markets and services to help drive Megaports global expansion.
Prepare and coordinate licence applications renewals and amendments and keep records of obligations deadlines and correspondence up to date.
Draft and submit reports to telecommunications regulators (including revenue operational or incident reports).
Stay across developments in telecommunications and critical infrastructure regulation and share key updates with the team.
Work with Legal Engineering and Commercial teams to gather information and support compliance initiatives.
Provide coordination and admin support to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs and the Regulatory Compliance Officer.

What You Bring

Youve got experience in regulatory compliance or legal work and exposure to the telecommunications technology or cloud sectors is a plus
You bring strong research analytical and organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail
You thrive in a fast-paced global environment and work effectively with teams across functions and regions to get things done
You can interpret and communicate complex regulatory information in a clear practical way
Youre comfortable using compliance document management or workflow tools (like Jira Confluence OneTrust or Ironclad)
Relevant tertiary qualification in law business compliance or related field is an advantage
