Position Overview
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for planning organizing and coordinating installation activities for countertop projects. This role ensures that installers materials and client site schedules are properly aligned to meet project timelines. As the primary point of contact for clients installers project managers and suppliers the Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth installation processes and maintaining high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain installation schedules for countertop projects ensuring timely completion.
Coordinate with installers project managers and clients to align schedules and confirm site readiness.
Assign installation teams based on project requirements workload and skill sets.
Communicate installation dates times and requirements to clients and internal teams.
Track and update scheduling changes due to client requests material availability or site conditions.
Ensure installers receive complete project details drawings and necessary materials before deployment.
Handle rescheduling requests and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
Maintain accurate records of scheduled projects client communications and installer assignments.
Provide daily and weekly installation status updates to management.
Collaborate with purchasing fabrication and logistics teams to ensure installation readiness.
Requirements
Qualifications
At least 12 years of experience in scheduling or a related role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Outlook Word) and scheduling/project management tools (knowledge of CRM or ERP systems is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle scheduling conflicts effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
