The Autism Care Coordinator (Scheduling Focus) supports families and providers by managing therapy schedules for children receiving ABA services. This role centers on proactive coordination compassionate communication and real-time problem-solving when schedules change.
You will work closely with families technicians and care teams to ensure therapy hours are preserved whenever possible. This position is well-suited for candidates with experience in autism services patient coordination or mental health scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to cancellations reschedules and urgent schedule changes
- Coordinate make-up sessions while respecting provider-specific policies
- Build forward-looking schedules based on availability and preferences
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with families
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
- Update Aloha and internal tools in real time
- Share daily schedule health updates with the care management team
What You Bring
- Background in autism services ABA coordination or healthcare scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
- Warm professional phone communication skills
- Experience with scheduling systems (Aloha preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused
- Spanish fluency is a strong advantage
