Position Details:
Duration: 8 Months
Hours: M-F 37.5 hrs per week
Pay: $37 Per/Hr.

-Provideavaluablesourceofnewperspectivesandpotentialoptimizationsuggestionsforimprovingtherecruitment process.
-Focusonimplementingsuggestionsthatarebothpracticalandlikelytodeliversignificantimprovements.
-Createaclearplanforimplementingthechosensuggestionincludingtimelinesandresponsibilities.
-Conductinterviewsfortemporaryemployees.
-Coordinateinterviewsforpotentialhires.
-AssistwiththerecruitmentandonboardingofnewemployeesbysubmittingalltechnicalrequeststoITandorderingnecessary equipment such as desk phones laptops and nameplates for new hires.
- sending correspondence uploading documents to RMS completing appointment forms and other tasks.
-;identifyandaddressperformanceissues;communicateperformanceissuesto supervisees with reports that provide feedback; develop performance improvement plans as needed.
-SupervisemailreviewsortinganddistributiontotheassignedAssistantAttorneyGeneral(AAG).

-ServeasBureauspointofcontactfortheagencyformajorprojectsorotheragency-widecommunications.
-Requestcourtreporter/videographerusingVeritext.
-Coordinatetranslationandinterpretationservices.
-Reportallserviceissuesforsix(6).
-ServeasthepointpersonforthereceiptanddistributionofClassActionFairnessAct(CAFA)noticesLaborLawSection215 notices and other notices sent by the public to the Labor Bureau.
-Coordinateroomreservationsformeetingsandsubpoenahearings.
-Ensurethatallvisitorsareaddedtothesecuritylistforofficeclearance.
-CommunicatewiththepublicandotherpartsofOAGtoresolveissueswithmailorcourtdocuments.
-MaintainandupdateBureauSharePointwhichincludes:postingcalendarsAODsorganizationchartsdirectoryandLabor Bureau Press releases.
-CreateandmodifydocumentsusingMicrosoftOfficeAdobeProandotherprograms.
-PostLaborBureauAODstoofficespublicwebsiteandsharedfolder.
-Managenon-competeintakesandentertheinformationintoNYMatters.

-ProvideadministrativesupporttoBureauChiefandDeputyBureauChiefsuchasschedulingmeetings(examplesincludebut are not limited to) i.e. new employee interviews & subpoena hearings.
-Prepareagendasformeetings.
-Ensurethatsupervisorsareremindedofthedeadlinesforperformanceevaluationsforcompetitiveemployees.
-SchedulealltravelarrangementsforBureauChiefDeputyBureauChiefSectionChiefsAAGsandadministrativestaff.
-UtilizeSFSwebsitetosubmittravelreceiptsandotherdocumentsforapprovalandreimbursementoftravelcards.
-CoordinateofficeequipmentandadministrativeneedswithITandAdministration.
-Communicateadministrative/buildingissueswithNYCAdminOp.

-ArchivingandfilingclosedcasefilesandWCcases.
-AttendmeetingswiththeAdminBureaucontacts.
-CoordinatewiththeOfficeAssistanttoordersuppliesfromthewarehousetomaintainanadequateinventory.
-Deliverandcollecttime-sensitiveitemsfromtheprintshopwhilemanagingtheattorneysofficemailroomandother departments within the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).
-Preparecoverlettersfaxcoversheetsandenvelopesformailingattorneycorrespondence.
-Draftofficepoliciesandproceduresforthehandlinganddistributionofmailandfaxes.
