Job Summary

Position Title:Emergency Room -Technician
Location: Flushing NY
Duration:9-Week (contract)
Shift: Days (8.25 5)
Hourly Pay: $24$26/hr
Weekly Pay: $900$1000/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Emergency Room -Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Flushing NY.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic patient care tasks including assistance with activities of daily living.
Obtain and document accurate vital signs.
Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect blood specimens.
Conduct EKGs and assist with telemetry monitoring for arrhythmia surveillance.
Complete glucose monitoring via finger-stick testing.
Support nursing staff with patient transport positioning and overall workflow.
Maintain a clean safe and organized patient care environment.
Communicate patient concerns or status changes promptly to nursing staff.
Adhere to hospital policies safety standards and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department (ED) Technician Required
Phlebotomy experience Required
EKG/Arrhythmia certificate Required
Experience performing and interpreting EKGs
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
Ability to perform glucose finger-stick testing

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Technician certificate
Nursing Attendant certification
At least 1 year of experience as an EKG Technician Nursing Attendant or similar clinical role
