Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:30 to 8 for Days & Nights)
Pay Rate: $55-$58/hr

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide emergency health care services to patients of all ages ranging from minor medical injuries to accidents trauma and various acute conditions for the ER Unit (Nights) at Claremore Hospital.
Claremore Hospital prefers candidates with 5 years of ER experience (minimum 3 years required). The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills critical thinking and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced high-acuity emergency environment.
Responsibilities Assess patients clinical conditions recognizing identifying and interpreting serious situations while prioritizing care appropriately
Initiate emergency interventions when a physician is not immediately available
Operate and monitor specialized emergency equipment including infusion pumps pulse oximeters ventilators cardiac monitors CPAP BiPAP and Vapotherm
Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed including medications IV therapy respiratory therapy and mechanical ventilation
Manage critical medications and hemodynamic drips
Provide emergency care for both adult and pediatric patients
Deliver basic stroke patient care
Record observations nursing interventions and therapeutic measures administered
Document coordinated care activities between nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Prepare written assignments based on patient acuity and staff competency
Plan develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Maintain adequate supplies and ensure a safe organized emergency care environment
Requirements Minimum 3 years Emergency Room experience (5 years preferred)
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License
AHA Certifications Required:

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience treating adult and pediatric emergency patients
Experience managing ventilators CPAP BiPAP and Vapotherm
Experience managing critical medications and drips
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced high-volume emergency department
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet physical demands (standing walking climbing stairs stooping kneeling crouching crawling and lifting up to 50 lbs)
Meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (Background Check Drug Screen etc.)
