Job Summary
Department Description
The Strategic Customers Engineering team (SCE) at OCI is tasked with managing the relationships with some of our most significant customers who are the key drivers of our response to rapid market growth across Cloud Native businesses in APAC we are establishing the APAC Strategic Pursuits team to guide Oracles largest and high growth cloud opportunities to success. As the principal solution architects in this teamyou will be helping the most strategic customers in the region with solving technical challenges with OCI.
This position is based in Singapore or Hong Kong and requires 40%-50% travel across the region.
Job Description
- Collaborate with APAC Strategic Pursuit leaders to define cloud strategies and architecture frameworks for target accounts.
- Evaluate and recommend OCI services for Cloud Natives use cases focusing on scalability resilience and compliance.
- Partner with local sales engineering org to provide technical leadership and direction on OCI based application architecture.
- Identify and address key migration blockers propose workarounds solutions and collaborate with TPMs and OCI service teams for features improvement.
- Recommend cost optimization and improve resource management for OCI environments. Ensure security best practices and compliance including IAM encryption and auditing.
- Partner with OCI service and capacity teams for feature and capacity delivery including general compute storage networking as well as AI infra projects.
- Act as the technical interface for AI infra strategic accounts in APAC.
- Stay current on OCI platform enhancements industry trends and emerging technologies. Able to write tech blogs and represent OCI in executive-level customer meetings industry events and strategic forums in the Cloud and AI Infra ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10year of experience architecting and implementing solutions on major CSPs.
- In depth knowledge with cloud native business architecture and hands-on in Cloud migration projects and AI infrastructure. Understanding of cloud security compliance and governance principles.
- Proactive self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative team player dedicated to serving business needs and empowering the sales team to win from competitions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in cloud product portfolios and IT infra projects. Experience with GPU and AI infra is a strong plus.
- Experience in working with Cloud Native business for large Cloud migration projects.
- Customer centric with strong ownership
