The Technology Solutions Department is actively seeking a Info Tech Analyst- Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Consultant.

The Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Consultant reports to the Application Development Project Manager and is responsible for managing maintaining and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and services. This role involves troubleshooting issues implementing updates configuring ERP and HCM modules and supporting integration between Oracle Cloud Fusion and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion best practices and a proven ability to deliver integrated business solutions across Finance Planning and Human Capital functions.

Examples of Work

Oracle Fusion Cloud Application Management

  • ERP:Support financial processes related to GL AP AR FA and Procure to Pay manage workflows ledger setups and financial reporting tools. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align business rules
  • HCM:Support Core HR Payroll Time & Labor Absence and Benefits modules. Understand and document HR processes and pain points.
  • EPM:Support budgeting forecasting and planning modules (e.g. Planning Cloud Financial Consolidation & Close) develop financial models and reporting structures

System Configuration and Customization

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis between client requirements and Oracle Cloud capabilities.
  • Make necessary configuration changes as per the clients requirements
  • Lead workshops and meetings with business stakeholders.
  • Prepare functional design documents (FDD) and solution design documents.
  • Coordinate testing activities: System Integration Testing (SIT) UAT regression.
  • Handle post-go-live support enhancements and incident resolution

Release and Patch Management

  • Assist with release management patch testing and quarterly Oracle updates.
  • Coordinate with Oracle support to resolve technical issues and apply necessary patches.

ERP HCM and EPM Integrations:

  • Oversee data integrations and interfaces between Oracle Cloud Fusion and other enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth data flow between cloud applications and other internal and external systems.
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data synchronization issues.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for Oracle Fusion Cloud environments.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

User Administration and Support:

  • Create modify and manage user accounts roles and security profiles.
  • Provide end-user support for Oracle Cloud Fusion applications including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Ensure proper role-based access controls are implemented for security and compliance purposes.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations customizations and updates.
  • Provide regular status reports on system health performance and ongoing issues.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing materials for internal teams.

Collaboration with Other Teams:

  • Work closely with IT functional and business teams to ensure that Oracle Fusion Cloud applications are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or consultants when needed for specialized tasks.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Provide training and guidance to end users on Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Ensure that internal teams are well-equipped to use the applications effectively.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud administration configuration and support.
  • Proficient in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) system integrations and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) HCM Data Loader HCM APIs Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Data Extracts Fast Formula and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of ERP EPM and HCM concepts workflows and business processes.

Certifications:

  • Oracle Cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Cloud ERP and/or HCM certifications are preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.

Open Requirements/Supplemental Information

  • Eight years of education and/or experience as an Oracle Cloud Fusion Consultant.

    • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science is preferred.

  • Demonstrated soft skills required such as presentation of ideas and clear articulation of concepts to senior management.

  • Display and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods.

  • Self-motivated able to work independently and exhibits initiative.

  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills.

  • Professional attitude and work habits.

Licensing/Certification/Registration:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license during employment in this class.

  • Must qualify for obtain and maintain a City of Jacksonville public driver certification for employment in this class.
