Job Summary
Join the dynamic and dedicated team working within our beautiful Montessori childcare environment at Forest Lake (Brisbane West) in this rare part time role as we fulfill ourSafe Smiling and Smart philosophy. Overview:
- Fixed roster - Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm
- Relieving room educators for lunch breaks
- Float educator across multiple classrooms
- Immediate start available
No Montessori experience is required however upon appointment allEducators will be supported to completeMontessori qualifications (in addition to ECEC qualifications)through our affiliated training collegeMECTA. Funding available for eligible trainees and apprentices can result in no out of pocket expenses for course fees. Enrolment eligibility conditions apply.
Position open to a Trainee Apprentice or Qualified Educator
- Trainee- entry level early childhood education assistant opportunity kick-start your career and be paid while you study Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Certificate III Montessori Education.
Apprentice - advance your career by studying Diploma qualifications in ECECandMontessori Early Childhood Education.Candidates must already hold Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
Diploma Qualified Educator- gain Montessori qualifications with future potential for advancement into senior roles.
*Please note the pay rate for Trainees is based on the Miscellaneous Award National Training wage.

Selection Criteria:
Willingness to enrol in and complete Early Childhood Education and CareandMontessori Early Childhood Education qualifications (if not already held).
For apprentice/diploma level candidates must already hold Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication.
Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card(WWC). Restricted persons need not apply.
