Were looking for a data-savvy Risk Advisor whos passionate about turning data into clarity and high-quality insights and reporting strengthening risk practices and providing data oversight that supports sound decision-making across all SNZ this role youll help uplift our Chief Risk Office analytics capability risk reporting and oversight frameworks - ensuring we have the right information presented the right way to guide governance challenge effectively and support strong customer and commercial outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Support the shape and delivery of a data-driven Risk Data Strategy that strengthens reporting and oversight across SNZ.
• Deliver timely and quality risk-focussed data analytics to stakeholders
• Partner across the CRO team and wider business where appropriate to support projects uplift analytics capability and influence quality risk decisions.
• Use data analytics and visualisation to assess processes validate controls and highlight key risk observations.
• Assist with preparing high-quality second-line risk reports and insights for senior leaders committees and Boards.
• Support components of the CRO annual oversight plan ensuring timely evidence-based outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure early effective and trusted risk advice.

What Youll Bring

• Relevant data qualifications or a tertiary qualification in Commerce Business or Finance
• Financial Services or Insurance background highly regarded
• Practical knowledge or experience of insurance risk management and control processes
• Experience in the use of tools such as IBM OpenPages and Cognos Collibra Tableau Atlassian Jira and Confluence Microsoft Excel and Word is desired
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data risks and insights in a clear concise and influential way to a range of stakeholders.
• A proactive detail-oriented approach with the confidence to challenge problem-solve and continuously improve risk reporting and oversight processes.
