Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a District Sales Manager to join our Respiratory Primary Care team. This role is field-based covering British Columbia and Manitoba and reports directly to the National Sales Director. The ideal candidate will reside in British Columbia or Manitoba as this position supports those territories.
As a District Sales Manager you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSKs respiratory portfolio. You will lead sales initiatives foster meaningful customer relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful implementation of national strategies. Your ability to demonstrate business acumen communicate effectively and work autonomously will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) marketing and market access teams to support GSKs mission to help Canadians do more feel better and live longer.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Minimum 5 years of hospital or healthcare sales experience
Minimum 2 years leading or managing sales teams or projects
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable results
Excellent communication coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
Valid drivers license and ability to travel regularly across assigned territories
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
Experience working in formularies procurement or pharmacy decision-making within the BC and Manitoba territories
Proven ability to use analytics and CRM tools to drive performance and customer planning
Experience collaborating with medical marketing and market access teams
Comfortable leading change in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in English and French an asset
Experience managing budgets and expense control
