Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of current promotions products and services to provide accurate information to customers. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and sales reporting. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Ensure the sales floor is organized stocked and visually appealing at all times. Skills and Qualifications: Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in sales with an emphasis on technical sales preferred. Experience in building materials or construction distribution or retail preferred. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in conducting product demos that engage customers and highlight product value. Capability to upsell products while maintaining customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.

Required Education:

*High school diploma*2 years of customer service experience in an office retail or industrial environment*Excellent customer service and time management skillsMust have effective business communication skills initiative and organizational skillsAbility to work with little supervision with a high standard for quality attention to detail and cleanliness.*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment*Ability to work extended hours which may be required from time to time.*Computer skills
