MoEngage is seeking a data-driven and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead our Segmentation charter.
The Segmentation engine is the intelligent heart of the MoEngage platform. Its how our customersfrom the worlds largest enterprises to high-growth startupscreate the precise user groups that power all their campaigns and personalization efforts. This pod is responsible for building a best-in-class segmentation experience that is powerful intuitive fast and scalable handling billions of data points in real-time.
In this role you will own the vision strategy and execution for all segmentation capabilities. You will be responsible for defining how marketers and product owners query complex user data (based on attributes behaviors affinity and more) to find the perfect audience for every message.
Define Product Vision & Strategy: Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Segmentation Pod. Define the future of how brands understand and group their users from simple rule-based segments to advanced AI-powered predictive audiences.
Execute with Excellence: Collaborate closely with engineering design and data science teams to translate your vision into clear concise product requirements user stories and specifications. Manage the product backlog and prioritize features to deliver maximum impact.
Be the Customers Voice: Conduct deep user research analyze customer feedback and study market trends to identify and validate new opportunities. Be the internal expert on your users segmentation needs and pain points.
Data-Driven Decisions: Live and breathe data. Define and monitor key success metrics for your product area analyze product usage and leverage insights to iterate and improve.
Drive Scalability & Performance: As we scale to trillions of data points you will be obsessed with the performance reliability and scalability of the segmentation engine ensuring queries are fast and accurate.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work seamlessly with GTM teams (Marketing Sales Customer Success) to support new feature launches develop enablement materials and gather market intelligence.
Manage the Lifecycle: Own your features from ideation through development launch and iteration.
Deep Technical Acumen: You have a strong understanding of data platforms analytics database concepts and APIs. You are comfortable discussing system architecture and data models with engineers.
Customer-Obsessed: You have a proven track record of talking to customers understanding their problems and translating their needs into successful product outcomes.
Exceptional Communicator: You can articulate a clear and compelling product vision to diverse audiences from engineers to executives to non-technical marketers.
Analytical Mindset: You are highly analytical and comfortable using data (SQL is a strong plus) to make decisions define metrics and measure success.
Ownership Mentality: You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of your product area from start to finish.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field.
Experience with AI/ML-driven product features such as predictive segmentation or user affinity modeling.
Direct experience with customer data platforms (CDPs) digital analytics or marketing automation platforms.
Familiarity with data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
MBA or advanced technical degree
