Job Summary

Job Description Summary
This vacancy is open ONLY to current regular and hourly employees who are members of SEIU Local 1021. Per new Article 8.7 of the Local 1021 hourly contract this job is being posted for ten (10) working days. Under the direction of the Dean of Special Programs and Grants schedules plans administers and coordinates testing activities for students with disabilities. This position is categorically funded. Continued employment is contingent upon refunding of the position.

Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of: Demonstrate strong organizational skills. Computer programs such as Peoplesoft; SARS appointment scheduling system and; Student Accommodations Manager ( SAM ) Ability to: Maintain accurate records. Maintain confidentiality. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Work independently with little direction.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree AND two years experience performing general office work including records management and general testing procedures; or an equivalent combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities to perform the duties of the position. 2. Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in the operation and use of personal computers utilizing word processing spreadsheet and database management software programs (e.g. MS Office Suite MS Word MS Outlook MS Excel MS Access and PowerPoint) and the Internet browser websites and Email. 3. Experience working with individuals with disabilities. 4. Applicant must have demonstrated cultural competency sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college staff faculty and students.
