Groves Learning Organization is seeking a curious detail-oriented people-centered Psychometrist to join our Diagnostics Department. If you enjoy working one-on-one with students and clients and get excited about accurate scoring sharp observations and collaborative clinical work this is your job.
This is a role for someone who wants to grow their competence in psychological and neuropsychological assessment while working with a team that is warm knowledgeable and deeply mission-driven.
Youll be an essential part of our diagnostic team by supporting psychologists and helping students families and adults understand their learning profiles. Your work will include:
Write clear meaningful behavioral observations during testing
Capture qualitative insights that help psychologists conceptualize cases
Communicate observations efficiently and professionally
Assist psychologists with proofreading or editing reports
Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary planning
Offer input as a consultant to psychologists regarding test results and client presentation
Attend Diagnostics Department meetings trainings and didactics
Engage in ongoing literature reviews to deepen your assessment knowledge
Receive supervision to strengthen your skills in administration scoring interpretation and ethical practice
Youll split your time between:
Groves Academy studentsduring admissions testing academic planning progress monitoring reevaluations and transition planning
Community clients (ages 5 to adult)coming for diagnostic clarity learning disorder evaluations or neurodevelopmental concerns
Youre a Great Fit If You
Have a bachelors degree in psychology or a related field
Have formal training in assessment (graduate coursework supervised experience or a graduate program in progressPh.D. Psy.D. or Masters)
Are familiar with administering and scoring cognitive achievement and neuropsychological measures
Enjoy working one-on-one with students and appreciate neurodiversity
Are passionate about learning differences such as dyslexia dysgraphia dyscalculia ADHD and other neurodevelopmental presentations
Communicate clearly respectfully and compassionately
Can balance structure with flexibilitybecause school life is dynamic
Are organized detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Understand confidentiality professional boundaries and ethical practice
