Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who also serves as a Senior
Mendix Developer/Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive
technical background in Mendix low-code development SQL/PostgreSQL database
C# Java JavaScript and cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
In this dual role you will lead Mendix projects and architect innovative solutions while also
providing expert developer support. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our
industrial automation systems developing a citizen developer platform and ensuring
seamless integration across diverse technologies. The ideal candidate will not only lead
technical development efforts but also mentor junior developers facilitate agile ceremonies
and represent IT in cross-functional planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities
Mendix Low-Code Development & Solutions Architecture
- Lead the design development and customization of business applications using the
Mendix low-code platform.
- Act as a Solutions Architect translating business requirements into efficient scalable
Mendix-based solutions.
- Rapidly prototype test and deploy applications to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish and promote best practices for low-code development to ensure maintainability
and scalability.
- Provide guidance to junior developers during sprints and design reviews to ensure best
practices are followed.

SQL/PostgreSQL Database Management
- Architect and manage both SQL and PostgreSQL databases that support critical
applications.

- Optimize complex queries and ensure data integrity performance and reliability.
- Implement data integration solutions that facilitate seamless data flow between systems.

.NET C# Java and JavaScript Development
- Develop and -based applications using C# for robust enterprise-grade
solutions.

- Utilize Java for building backend services and application logic as needed.
- Develop dynamic user-friendly interfaces and client-side applications using JavaScript.
- Ensure high-quality code through best practices code reviews and rigorous testing
protocols.

Cloud Technologies & Version Control
- Leverage AWS and Azure cloud platforms to deploy scale and manage applications
effectively.

- Integrate cloud services with existing systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Utilize Git for version control to manage code repositories and collaborate seamlessly
across development teams.

Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Own full lifecycle project delivery including sprint planning backlog grooming technical
reviews and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the point of contact for escalations support planning and resource coordination
within the team.

- Mentor junior developers by sharing expertise across Mendix SQL/ C#
Java JavaScript and cloud services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive innovative solutions
and continuous improvement.

Performance Security & Continuous Improvement

- Ensure optimal performance security and scalability across all applications and systems.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements across all relevant technologies.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and
system reliability.
