Job Summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen isrecruitingforafellow trained vitreoretinal surgeontojoin a robust and established practice. The ideal candidate would be interested in surgical and medical retina complex cataracts and potentially comprehensiveophthalmology.

Shared call is 1:10with ten other board-certified Ophthalmologists on staff.

We are a full-service ophthalmology departmentwithcomprehensive ophthalmologists as well as subspecialists including cornea glaucomaretina pediatrics andoculoplastics.

The Emplify EyeDepartment provides the latest in technology and equipment.We are a well-establishedthrivingand collegial group. Since we provide care to large regionalarea we see a wide variety of pathology in a diverse and friendly patient is guaranteed and very competitive. We ensure state-of-the-art eye care to the citizens of southwest Wisconsin southeast Minnesotaand northeast addition to our eleven ophthalmologists our professional eye care team includes29optometristscertifiedophthalmicand optometric technicians contact lens specialists low vision personnel and on-site opticians.

Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program and fellowship training is required for this addition must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students residents fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
