Job Summary

Interested in an opportunity to move fast and make a big impact Amazon Consumer Payment team is looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager to build products that are fundamental to the fast growth of the business.

The mission of the Amazon co-brand credit card (CBCC) team is to deliver exceptional value to Amazon customers every time they use their card on or off-Amazon. We own features and models that aim to delight customers by continuously improving customers experience Amazon Points special promotions and other benefits.

The Product Manager will work closely with the tech team to champion product ideas from ideation and planning to execution to build a scalable amazon payment services. The right candidate possesses a strong product / tech program management background a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in Japan and demonstrated experience leading large projects.

You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity. This means you are not only able to own high-level strategic initiatives but also roll up your sleeves dig in and get the job done. You will have good executive presence and excellent verbal/ written communication.

Key job responsibilities
- You will lead planning and execution high visibility consumer-facing and other projects to improve CX of Japanese co-branded credit card customers and grow the CBCC business in Japan. For these you will work closely with UX designers Marketing Operations Legal Tech and external partners such as the issuer bank.
- You will work closely with tech team in BLR to help them unblock any issues. You will take part in daily stand ups/sprint planning/retros. You will escalate when needed and use your influence to accelerate project delivery.
- You will create and maintain tech development roadmap by taking part in annual/quarterly planning exercises you will quickly help re-prioritize initiatives when needed.

Amazon Consumer Payment Section What do they do


- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 7 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
- Business level English and Japanese language ability (speaking reading writing).

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
