Your mission

Accountants are responsible for producing timely accurate and reliable financial information ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies Statutory requirements and with validating the integrity and consistency of recorded financial information. An accountant will also have the opportunity to play an important role in the transformation of our financial processes.

What youll do at UiPath

  1. Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of Group and Statutory booking processes including the timely resolution of related accounting and statutory reporting issues during the close to ensure full compliance.

  2. Support the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements meeting required deadlines.

  3. Oversee the monthly account reconciliation process (via SAP AFC) and drive continuous improvement of the process across all UiPath entities

  4. Conduct internal audit activities for Accounting function (including controls documentation walkthroughs testing remediation and reporting for process controls) and perform necessary SOX controls allocated to the function

  5. Partner with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams for the design business rule development and implementation of new processes providing financial and accounting support to the projects

  6. Ensure the accuracy of Purchase Requisitions including account cost center and prepayment flag

  7. Act as backup for T&E approval cash application and clearing processes

  8. Contribute to continuous improvement of our financial processes (e.g. through automation)

  9. Cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Payroll Procurement Tax Commercial Finance

What youll bring to the team

1. Bachelors degree major in accounting finance or business or equivalent experience

2. CPA US-CPA or Nissho Boki 2nd grade is preferred

3. 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting

4. Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA (preferred) or other ERP

5. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is essential

6. Knowledge of Japan GAAP / US GAAP(basic level) and financial accounting processes

7. Strong attention to detail high commitment to quality and a strong sense of responsibility with a sense of urgency

8. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees management and external agencies to maximize performance creativity problem solving and results

9. Native level Japanese Business level English
