About the role

Wereseeking a skilledMedical Copywriterwith a strong background in healthcare communications and a passion for transforming scientific content intoengagingpromotional materials. This role supports the design team and collaborates closely with our client in the pharmaceutical industry.

Youllplay a key role in developing high-quality copy that aligns with brandobjectiveswhile adhering to medical regulatory legal and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is adept at simplifying complex scientific concepts into clear compelling content across both digital and traditional channels. Your work will help ensure consistency in key messaging while anchoring materials inaccuratemedical references.

Creativity strategic thinking and a solution-oriented mindset are essential.

Whatyoulldo

  • Develop andmaintaincopy for a wide range of commercial and omnichannel assets including (but not limited to):
  • Digital: banner ads email campaignsiDetailaids websites social media posts
  • Print: patient guidelines congress materials brochures
  • Lead the referencing process ensuring all content is medicallyaccurateand based on the latest literature and data.
  • Translate complex medical and scientific data into clear concise and audience-appropriate language for healthcare professionals patients and payers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teamsincluding design strategy brandaccount management production and project managementto align messaging and creative output.
  • Participate in creative concept development ideation and occasional multimedia or motion-based campaign projects.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously across various therapeutic areas delivering high-quality content within tight deadlines.
  • Ensure all content aligns with relevant regulatory frameworksfor themarket (e.g. UK France Italy)
  • Follow internal best practices in communication documentation editorial standards language use content structure and referencingmethodology.
  • Activelyparticipatein client meetings internal briefings training sessions and workshops as needed per project scope.
  • Where applicable use approved generative AI tools toassistwith first-draft copywriting content repurposing and ideationalways under editorial control.
  • Uphold strict standards for quality confidentiality and data security. Adhere to all relevant quality systems policies processes and compliance training.


About you

  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience ideally within an in-house creative team or agency setting working with pharmaceutical sector clients.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:Awareness of relevant regulations.
  • Education:A degree or masters in a healthcare-related field (or equivalent qualification) is preferred.
  • Therapeutic Expertise:Familiarity with (or an intermediate understanding of) therapy areas such as rare diseases respiratory and immunology cardiovascularrenaland metabolic and oncology.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Translation Ability:Capable of translating content from English toeither French or Italianwhen.
  • Willingness to Learn:Open to deepening knowledge in the above therapeutic areas through collaboration with medical teams.
  • Writing Skills:A strong passion and talent for writing with conceptual thinking skills and a solid grasp of the digital communication landscape.
  • SEO Expertise:Experience in SEO copywriting is a strong advantage including keyword research and writing persuasive copy designed to drive traffic and encourage user engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Passion for building relationships networking and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
  • Scientific Awareness:Keeps up to date with technical and scientific advancements and can apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
  • Problem Solving:Skilled inidentifyingissues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Detail-Oriented:Highly organized deadline-driven and able to multitask across various projects.
  • Client Focus:Strong client-service mindset with a commitment to building long-term partnerships and motivating others to do the same.
  • Project Management:Proven ability to deliver work on time and manage competing priorities efficiently.
  • Corporate Experience:
    Previousexperience in a large multinational matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Location:Ideally based within commuting distance of the clients office in Hamburg. This is a hybrid role combining remote work with occasional on-site meetings.
  • Language Skills:Fluency in English plus also either French or Italian.
