Job Description
We are recruiting Order Pickers for a large supermarket logistics operation in Germany. The company specialises in home delivery of groceries and household products. Candidates will work in modern warehouses assigned to different temperature-controlled departments depending on operational needs.
Main Responsibilities
Picking customer orders using a handheld scanner
Collecting items with a manual trolley
Placing products into baskets according to order specifications
Quality control
Shelf replenishment
Warehouse organisation and cleaning tasks
Labelling
Folding cartons
Other general warehouse duties
Work Departments
Dry Goods: Ambient temperature
Chilled: 3C (equipment provided: jacket and gloves)
Frozen: -18C (only retrieving products; gloves provided)
Requirements
CV in English
English or German at A2 level (mandatory for interview)
Physical fitness and ability to walk/stand for long periods
No mobility issues or chronic pain
Ability to work with multiple nationalities
Willingness to stay long-term in Germany
Long trousers required at the workplace
Drivers license required
Conditions
Hourly rate: 14.53 gross
Guaranteed 151 hours/month
Average workload: 173 hours/month
Accommodation: 91/week (houses or hotels)
3 meals per day provided on working days
Monthly salary payments
Additional Allowances
25% extra: night shifts (23:0006:00)
50% extra: Sundays
100% extra: public holidays
Saturday is a regular working day (no allowance)
