Were looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Coty India team. This is a newly added role that will be responsible not only for the commercial success of the business unit under his/her care but also the acceleration of Cotys ambitions through impactful marketing strategy and impeccable execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Brand Marketing ATL PR
- Develop short to long-term brand and launch plans in conjunction with Key Accounts and Retail Operations aimed at driving sell-out sales productivity brand/product rankings and market share
- Make strategic decisions around big bets and key priorities with a view to do fewer but bigger and better showcasing Singapore as the market with best-in-class practices/executions/successes
- Partner Media and PR agencies to develop cohesive Media and PR strategies to build brand desirability and exclusive tribes to support brand development and major launches
- Track and improve Marketing KPIs and ROIs
- Trade Marketing BTL
- Plan and execute BTL promotions across Department Stores Sephora Perfumery and Ecommerce channels for omni-excellence
- Develop exclusive offerings and promotions tailored to various customers/channels and end-consumers
- Plan and execute animations and podiums in conjunction with Key Accounts Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations
- Co-own brand- category- and BA-productivity with Retail Operations and Key Accounts
- Support Key Accounts and Retail Operations with month-to-month sales planning activations aimed at stretching results and/or mitigating risks
- A&CP Budgeting P&L Management
- Plan own and manage A&CP budget to ensure profitability
- Co-own brand P&Ls including actively managing sell-out to sell-in gross-to-net and product contribution
- Market Planning & Forecasting
- Monitor closely/adjust the forecast for both new marketing initiatives and baseline categories/franchises according to business needs
- Work with stakeholders to realize commercial ambitions; to re-phase forecasts when required and track performances of key pillars
- Manage inventory and make plans as required for discontinuations and Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) reduction
- Reporting & Others
- Weekly Monthly and Quarterly reporting as per brand and APAC requirements managing ad-hoc reporting requests when required
- Providing valuable insights to local regional and global teams on brand and competitor performance using them to enhance our own brand performance and results
- Pricing and promotional analysis
A dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong attention to detail the ideal candidate will bring along the following:
- Minimally 5 years of 360 brand management experience in Luxury Beauty particularly in Fragrances within the Singapore domestic market
- Significant relevant experience with the Department Store and Sephora channels with a strong understanding of the retail drumbeat and landscape in Singapore. Channel experience in Free Standing Stores is a bonus.
- Experience in multi-brand portfolio management is preferred
- A proven track record in brand-building and expansion; a strategic thinker who does not gloss over details
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure
- Highly detailed with strong organizational and analytical skills; attuned with performance marketing
- A team player ability to develop effective working relationships both internally & externally and excel in a multi-cultural environment
- Proactive agile with a strong business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
