Independent Living Director Job Opportunity at Trinity Elms Health & Rehab
Join Our Dedicated Team as the Director of Independent Living
Location: Trinity Elms
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Salary: Starting at $22.00 per hour and up (depending on experience)
Position Summary:
Trinity Elms is seeking a dedicated and experienced Independent Living Director to join our team. The selected candidate will support the Executive Director in overseeing community operations ensuring alignment with facility goals and objectives. This position requires regular interaction with residents management of marketing activities for the independent living community and oversight of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address resident needs and collaborate with the Executive Director Assisted Living Administrator and skilled nursing RN regarding health concerns or unusual circumstances including hospitalizations.
- Assist in census management and facilitate transitions between levels of care within the campus.
- Advise family members on coordinating special care services through home health providers and other campus-related resources.
- Maintain accurate resident records and promptly communicate status updates to the business office.
- Organize apartment relocations and coordinate necessary room updates for residents.
- Plan and implement social events and trips accompanying residents on out-of-town excursions as needed.
- Support marketing initiatives for special events and oversee seasonal building decorations.
- Participate in the Employee Engagement Committee and contribute to the planning of events and programs aimed at enhancing employee morale.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business and personnel procedures.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage comfortably with senior residents and external customers.
- CPR certification required.
Working Conditions:
- Regular contact with residents in various states of health.
- Occasional use of personal vehicle may be necessary.
