About the Role

In this role you will provide oversight and expert guidance to ensure policies remain current accurate and aligned with organisational and government requirements. Acting as an escalation point youll coordinate review processes facilitate stakeholder consultation and support policy owners through complex governance requirements.

You will also build capability across business units enabling timely and effective policy outcomes that strengthen organisational compliance and governance frameworks.

About You

As a Policy Governance Lead you bring extensive experience in end-to-end policy management including the full policy lifecycle from development to review and retirement. You have a proven track record in policy and procedure development and in managing a portfolio of policies and procedures within a large and complex organisation.

You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to guide and manage the Policy Governance team ensuring delivery of high-quality compliant policies and procedures under the TAFE NSW Policy Framework. You provide expert advice and escalation support to Policy Writers and stakeholders maintaining consistency and alignment with TAFE NSW and NSW Government requirements.

Your analytical skills and collaborative approach enable you to translate complex requirements into clear fit-for-purpose documentation while fostering effective engagement across the organisation.

Experience in education and/or training is highly regarded but not essential.
