The Head HR will lead the overall HR function for the flour mill managing end-to-end HR operations including recruitment compliance employee relations performance management training and workforce planning. The role ensures smooth HR processes that support efficient plant operations and a productive workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all HR activities for the mill including recruitment onboarding and manpower planning.
Ensure statutory compliance (Factories Act Labour Laws PF/ESI etc.) and maintain proper documentation.
Drive employee engagement grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
Oversee payroll processing attendance management and shift workforce coordination.
Implement performance management systems and support department heads with goal setting and reviews.
Develop and conduct training programs to improve technical and behavioral skills.
Manage contract labour vendor coordination and ensure compliance with CLRA.
Strengthen HR policies SOPs and HR best practices for plant operations.
Support top management in HR strategy budgeting and organizational development initiatives.
Promote a safe compliant and positive work culture across the mill.

Bachelors or Masters degree in HR / Industrial Relations.
15-20 years of HR experience preferably in manufacturing / food processing / FMCG.
Strong knowledge of labour laws statutory compliance and factory HR operations.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing large blue-collar workforce and contract labour.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with plant leadership.
