Test Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead manage and develop a test team (automation & manual) including hiring performance coaching career pathing and fostering a quality-first team culture.
• Define and execute the overall QA strategy with a focus on automation roadmap developmentprioritizing test cases for automation (e.g. regression API UI) to reduce manual effort and accelerate release cycles.
• Oversee the design development and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts using tools/tech stacks such as Selenium Appium Postman RestAssured Cypress or Playwright.
• Collaborate with development product and DevOps teams to integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI) enabling continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Establish QA metrics (e.g. automation coverage rate defect escape rate test execution efficiency) to track team performance identify bottlenecks and report quality status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements by embedding relevant checks into testing processes.
• Stay updated on emerging automation testing tools methodologies and industry best practices to continuously optimize the QA function.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
• 6 years of software testing experience including 3 years in automation testing (hands-on experience with frameworks like Selenium/Appium/Cypress) and 2 years of people management experience leading QA teams.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python Java JavaScript) and experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail Zephyr) and defect tracking systems.
• Deep understanding of SDLC Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelinesability to align testing processes with fast-paced iterative development.
• Proven track record of increasing automation coverage (e.g. from 30% to 70%) and reducing release cycle time while maintaining or improving product quality.
• Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Elevator/Escalator industrial development/test experience is preferred.
