Trade Marketing Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Trade MKT Lead you will be the best commercial partners to help grow the business.

Your main focus :

• Have a thorough understanding of market trend including category competition channels customers consumers and shoppers to share inspiring insights and propose actions to capture market opportunities.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of brands objectives and strategies and provide continuous feedback/input to Coty China management and brand marketing teams.
• Be a great communication bridge between the brand and the field. Clearly deliver brand strategies and marketing programs to sales force retailors and distributors.
• Deploy GTM and stores based on yearly plan. Set clear brand and promotional guidelines to the channels ensures top quality of execution monitor the results and adjust plans based on learnings.
• Align yearly promotion/ event sales target and resources by brand with leadership team and build trade marketing plan accordingly.
• Allocate target and resources to channel/ retailer. Build JBP for top stores strengthen the collaboration and ensure retailers continuous support to drive productivity growth
• Closely monitor launches and line performance as well as competitions activities and results
• Manage sample and GWP usage plan as well as A&CP spending vs budget.
• Work closely with marketing VM Training and CRM team to drive consumer engagement and loyalty
• Define Assortment and perform assortment analytics and optimization (e.g. SKUs to delist/push)

• Strong strategic thinking and applied marketing skills required
• Position requires excellent leadership skills
• Sales ambitious and result driven
• Extensive knowledge of retailers and channel for beauty industry focus department store and shopping malls.
• Excellent written and oral communications excellent presentation skills ability to communicate with multiple cultures and at senior levels with key customers senior and international management.
• Travel to China cities

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Marketing or related discipline
• At least 10 years working experience including at least 5 years in beauty/ cosmetics industry with an enthusiasm for trade/ retail marketing
• Trade marketing experience is must. E-trade marketing experience is a plus.
• Excellent in spoken and written English.
