Join Visy Recycling as a Fleet Manager and take the lead in driving operational excellence across a multisite operation.

About the Role:
Reporting to the National Fleet Manager this leadership role gives you full ownership of fleet operations across Queensland. Youll drive performance compliance and cost control across the state while fostering a safety-first mindset and increasing team engagement. Leading drivers and two supervisors youll ensure high service standards and operational excellence. Regular travel to sites within Southeast Queensland as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage performance compliance and maintenance schedules of our fleet to keep operations running smoothly.
- Engage with drivers daily to provide guidance resolve issues and build positive relationships.
- Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Financial cost control and responsibility for optimising routes for maximum productivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless operations.
- Travel to sites across Queensland to support team engagement and operational oversight.
What Youll Bring
- Experience in fleet or transport management within the waste or recycling industry.
- Strong background in a leadership and people management role.
- Knowledge of transport compliance safety standards and regulations (eg. CoR and NHVR)
- Demonstrated experience in report preparation and presentation to key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
