Developer Relations Engineer (Algorithmic Trading Infrastructure)

Location: Singapore (Hybrid)

Compensation: $80K - $140K

We are a specialized prime brokerage focused on building robust institutional-grade infrastructure for large-scale algorithmic trading on a leading platform (Hyperliquid). We are seeking a highly technical Developer Relations Engineer to fully own the integration experience for advanced API-driven traders.

You will work directly with systematic funds proprietary trading firms and sophisticated builders ensuring fast reliable and low-friction adoption of our prime brokerage services.

As the Developer Relations Engineer you will be the technical interface between our core engineering team and our highest-value usersquantitative trading desks and systematic funds. Your primary goal is to ensure seamless integration and maximum performance when users connect to our APIs and trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Leadership: Lead end-to-end technical integrations for key systematic trading teams guiding them through complex API connections and infrastructure setup.
Documentation & Tools: Maintain clear precise API documentation create integration templates and develop effective code examples.
Technical Support: Provide expert high-signal technical support to traders via direct channels (e.g. Discord) debugging integration issues quickly and effectively.
SDK Development: Build and maintain high-quality SDKs testing tools and system health checks to accelerate the onboarding process.
Reliability Monitoring: Monitor system reliability and performance from the user perspective surfacing critical issues and necessary improvements directly to the core engineering and infrastructure teams.
Feedback Loop: Act as the primary channel for user feedback translating integration pain points and feature requests into actionable items for product and infrastructure development.

Key Technologies

You will be working closely with and utilizing:

Programming Languages: Python TypeScript Rust.
Communication: REST and WebSocket APIs.
Domain: High-performance trading systems and exchange-style integration patterns.
Ops: Performance monitoring and observability tools.

Requirements

Domain Expertise: Experience working directly with algorithmic trading quantitative finance or high-performance developer tooling (APIs SDKs) in a finance context.
Technical Rigor: Strong debugging skills and exceptional systems thinking to troubleshoot complex integration issues across different client setups.
User Interaction: Confident and capable of working directly with highly technical users (quants developers CTOs of trading firms).
Communication: Clear concise communication skills with a strong bias towards shipping practical code-based solutions.
