As we grow we are seeking a reliable Live Chat Representative to join our remote support team.
Job Summary
The Live Chat Representative will assist patients providers and general users through eGastroMDs online chat platform. This role focuses on delivering prompt accurate and empathetic assistance while maintaining a professional patient-first approach. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators fast typists and able to manage multiple conversations in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities

Respond quickly and professionally to all incoming live chat requests.

Provide non-clinical support regarding services appointment inquiries preparation instructions and patient portal navigation.

Assist with scheduling requests or direct users to the appropriate department.

Document all chat interactions accurately in internal systems.

Escalate urgent or complex concerns to the proper administrative or clinical team.

Maintain a friendly empathetic and patient-focused tone at all times.

Handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously while keeping accuracy and speed.

Meet performance goals related to response time service quality and customer satisfaction.

Uphold HIPAA regulations and safeguard all patient information.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.

Experience in live chat support customer service or healthcare communications preferred.

Strong written communication and excellent typing speed.

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy chat environment.

Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple platforms.

Calm patient and professional demeanor.

Reliable internet connection and the ability to work in a quiet remote setting.

Familiarity with medical terminology or gastroenterology is a plus.
