What the Role Involves Maths Academic Mentor

  • Delivering targeted subject-based support in mathematics for small groups and individuals
  • Leading intervention programmes and monitoring and tracking pupil progress
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to adapt resources and differentiate learning
  • Supporting classroom learning and managing small-group sessions effectively
  • Contributing to mentoring and feedback cycles to help students meet their targets

What the School is Looking For
We seek compassionate proactive individuals with a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued. Strong communication skills willingness to learn and dedication to pupil development are essential. Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Salary and Contract Info

  • Academic Mentor roles: 450530 per week pro rata (term-time only)
  • Contract: Full-time long-term (SeptemberJuly) term-time only
  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
