As our Sourcing & Contracts Administrator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Safety Health and Environment
- Support specific safety health and sustainability opportunities and risks and ensure transactional purchasing activities comply with all Safety Health and environmental requirements.
- Perform regular risk assessments and raise any risks/issues immediately.
- Comply with relevant policies and standards particularly the Contractor Performance Management policy and procedures to achieve gold-standard contractor safety performance.
Performance and Delivery
General:
- Perform general contract administration tasks upload price files and update master data.
- Embrace an agile Supply Chain by being adaptive and flexible to accommodate and focus on emerging and changing business priorities.
Commercial Value Delivery and Supplier Partnering:
- Adhere to global commercial standards that will enable delivery in a safe and socially acceptable way and ensure that the organisation sources from responsible suppliers.
- Provide the necessary administrative support required for negotiations.
Planning:
- Provide relevant sourcing and contracting category management and project procurement administrative activities in a timely and visible manner.
- Support for supplier engagements (preparation and minutes etc).
Sourcing and Contracts Management:
- Provide relevant administrative planning support for business and corporate routine tactical sourcing and contracting and contractor management activities.
Commercial Agreements:
- Provide regular timely and accurate reporting for activities in the relevant portfolio.
Inclusive Procurement:
- Support a culture of community development and inclusive procurement.
- Adhere to Inclusive Procurement expectations targets and initiatives.
Sustainability and Social:
- Support a culture of Sustainable Value.
- Provide administrative support with implementing sustainable value creation strategies initiatives and associated business cases advancing Anglo American technical community sustainability and financial ambitions.
Stakeholder and Supplier Engagement:
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and new partners within the supply market.
- Maintain good relationships with operational materials management and warehousing.
Supply Chain Excellence:
- Support the team in identifying supplier development needs and opportunities and providing input into the development of solutions.
People and Teams:
- Drive own performance management and personal learning.
- Embrace a Supply Chain team culture of diversity and inclusiveness.
- Support cross-functional team interactions with internal stakeholders.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure personal and team compliance with internal Anglo American and Supply Chain Governance requirements for all Physical Supply Chain Management activities.
- Ensure personal and team compliance with applicable legislative requirements.
This role is in the Supply Chain (SC) department on a band A3 level reporting to the Section Manager Sourcing & Contracts.
Qualifications :
- Grade 12
- Office Management/Supply Chain qualification on NQF4
- SA Drivers Licence
Technical Knowledge
- 3-5 years of experience in an administration and compliance environment including sourcing and contracts policies and standards.
- Understanding roles operational context and complexity within relevant fields or environments.
- Familiarity with transactional procurement processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of SAP Purchasing systems and their functionalities.
- Awareness of technical considerations related to repairs and maintenance.
- Understanding of process compliance monitoring and related controls.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain (SC) systems and their applications within organisational operations.
