Job Summary

Team Red Dog is looking for an experienced Budget and Forecast Business Manager to support our Fortune 100 technology leader client. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional with deep budgeting forecasting procurement and reporting experienceincluding hands-on expertise with Mercury Informa and purchase order management. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Mercury / Informa proficiency (10 years): Create cyclical and ad hoc financial reporting evaluate budgets and support forecast cycles using Enterprise-standard reporting tools.
  2. Budgeting and forecasting expertise (10 years): Lead annual quarterly and monthly E2E forecasting including accruals variance analysis and strategic planning support across a large organization.
  3. Purchase order lifecycle management (10 years): Create manage invoice accrue and close POs; evaluate SOWs for completeness; ensure full alignment with Procurement and Finance requirements.
  4. Strong Excel and Power BI capabilities: Build financial models perform data analysis and translate insights into clear reporting for cross-functional stakeholders.

Opportunity Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to drive financial clarity and operational excellence for a dynamic fast-paced finance organization. You will directly support a 200-person organization within a 4000-person division owning the budget and forecast rhythm end-to-end while collaborating closely with the Chief of Staff Finance partners and operational leaders. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking full ownership shaping financial processes and partnering with high-visibility groups to ensure alignment accuracy and strategic impact.

How you will make an impact:
Own the annual quarterly and monthly budgeting and forecasting cycles for the SPARC organization.
Evaluate existing purchase orders identify invoicing or accrual needs and drive team-wide awareness.
Create refine and deliver Mercury and Informa reports for recurring and ad hoc business needs.
Manage the full purchase order lifecycle from creation through invoicing accruing and closure.
Review Statements of Work (SOWs) for accuracy completeness and alignment with requirements.
Provide clear concise financial reporting and insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Partner closely with Finance Chief of Staff and broader AHSI teams to ensure forecasting rigor.
Represent the SPARC team in Finance meetings and deliver weekly updates on status and trends.
Coach leaders and team members on forecast expectations financial processes and compliance.
Navigate ambiguity with confidence driving clarity and end-to-end ownership of financial tasks.

The expertise you bring:
10 years of Microsoft finance experience including budgeting forecasting accruals and reporting.
Deep proficiency in Mercury Informa MyOrder/ProcureWeb and GSR.
Strong experience managing complex purchase orders through their full lifecycle.
Ability to read and assess SOWs for contractual and financial completeness.
Advanced Excel skills and experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
Experience collaborating with Finance Chief of Staff offices and large cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Working knowledge of Legal Contracting Experience (LCE) a plus.
MUST HAVE large-tech financial operations experience
