Job Summary
Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Surgery School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532297)(to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE; or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE; or a recognized Higher Diploma or Diploma in Computer Science Information Technology or related disciplines; and with at least 2 years relevant work experience. They should have knowledge of software applications including MS Office and photo/video editing software; and be highly competent in troubleshooting and maintenance of PC and other computer equipments. Applicants should be a good team player and have a strong sense of responsibility.
The appointee will provide audio visual and IT technical services to various workshops/conferences/lectures; carry out and co-ordinate in setting up the venue; troubleshooting and maintenance of the Departments computers audio and visual facilities; provide technical assistance to staff members; and perform other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
