Job Summary
FPS- Sales / Costing/Estimation/Tendering Engineer:
Greetings from Petro Manpower and Engineering Consultant.
We have an urgent requirement for an FPS- Sales / Costing/Estimation/Tendering Engineer for
Bangalore-based Client.
Job Type:- Permanent Client Pay Roll
Location:- Bangalore Chennai
Experience - 8 to 12 Years of Experience
Qualification:- B.E/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Job Profile :
1) Analyse RFQs tender documents fire system drawings technical specs and contractual clauses
(GCC/SCC).
2) Prepare FPS cost estimations BOQs and comprehensive techno-commercial offers.
3) Develop and submit value engineering solutions for cost-effective project delivery.
4) Manage vendor quotations negotiations and proposal documentation.
5) Coordinate with internal design procurement and project execution teams.
6) Use ERP/SAP systems for order booking costing and project handover processes.
7) Maintain profitability by ensuring accurate pricing and margins.
8) Track market trends gather competitor intelligence and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills:
Expertise in FPS sales especially in special projects (e.g. Metro Data Centres Healthcare).
Strong knowledge of technical documentation and costing.
Strong knowledge of fire safety standards (e.g. NBC NFPA IS codes)
Proficiency in estimation and costing for wet (hydrant/sprinkler) & gas-based systems Hands-on
experience with ERP/SAP tools
Excellent communication documentation and client handling skills
