Job Summary
Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Neuroendovascular Surgery!
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Neurosurgeon with a fellowship in Endovascular Surgery to provide locum coverage at our state-of-the-art facility in Chattanooga Tennessee. This position focuses on endovascular neurointerventions in an acute care setting. Join our comprehensive stroke center where youll work alongside a dedicated team that includes APPs available 24/7 as well as specialized nursing staff trained in endovascular cases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform endovascular neuro procedures including thrombectomies and aneurysm surgeries.
- Document all procedures including operative and post-operative notes.
- Provide ongoing patient care in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive intervention coverage.
- Be available for on-call and weekend shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Neurosurgeon.
- Completed a fellowship in Endovascular Surgery.
- Ability to perform required procedures independently.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Tennessee state license or IMLC.
- BLS and DEA certification.
- Board certification in Neurosurgery.
