Job Summary

St. Marys Medical Center is looking for a Locum Cardiovascular surgery for hospital based/rounding coverage starting as soon as credentialed!

Practice Setting: hospital based/rounding
Schedule (Shifts and Hours): nights weekends
Dates of Coverage: TBD
Call Ratio: 2 to 3 weekends a month
Number of Physicians in Practice: TBD
Number of Operating Room: 16
Number of Cases per day: 2
Trauma Level/Designation: level 2
Patient Age Demographic: Adult and geriatric
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (If provider does have a PA license it will likely not take the full 120 days).
Facility will reimburse the following costs: Flight hotel rental car and Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Procedures/Surgeries Required:
Aneurysm Repair
Carotid Artery Endarterectomy (CEA)
Femoral Bypass Surgery
Fistula
Procedures/Surgeries Required (cont.):
Endovascular and Open Surgical Reconstruction for Deep Vein Occlusions
Endovascular Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
Endovascular Therapy for Gangrene of the Limbs
Additional Vascular Conditions Treated:
Vascular Malformations
Nutcracker Syndrome
Lymphedema
vinas wounds coratid stents varicose veins
Rates to be submitted:
24-hour call (with minimum of 4 hours to gratis)
Night call (with minimum of 2 hours to gratis)
Call-back rates
All holiday rates
Conversion fee - $25k

Requirement description :
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery REQUIRED
Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship REQUIRED
Active PA license REQUIRED
BLS & ACLS Certification REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice History REQUIRED
Local Provider - PREFERRED
Must follow rate structure - REQUIRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
ACLS
BLS
Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Pennsylvania

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Weekend call coverage 2 3 weekends per month 24-hour coverage
On Call Requirements : 24-hour cardiovascular surgery call coverage during scheduled nights and weekends
