McLaren Bay Region is recruiting Gastroenterologists in Bay City Michigan for 24-hour call coverage. Ongoing need for coverage through 2026

Schedule is Monday 7am - Friday 7pm call. No weekend call.

GI clinic location less than half a mile from hospital
Small town atmosphere with big city amenities waterfront

Please note:

Car fuel mileage hotel is a $150 cap (including taxes) rental must be refueled before being returned

Do NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees

No lodging booked through 3rd party websites i.e. Expedia kayak etc.

McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging

Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between McLaren Health Care & AHSA.

Rates to Submit:

Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate
Orientation rate - 1/2 the hourly rate for training/orientation/online modules
On call (daily) - 24-hour rate to include 8 hours gratis in house and night call Monday-Thursday
Daily shifts for Fridays 7a-7p to include 4 hours of patient contact
Call back rate - After gratis hours completed
Holiday rates for all
Conversion fee

Requirement description : ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE INCLUDED IN SUBMISSION TO AVOID REDIRECTION:

MI license: REQUIRED (will only accept IMLC when dates are 60 days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC)
Rates must be submitted at time of name clear - REQUIRED will not send to client without rates (please see in job description)
Board certified: REQUIRED will not accept BE
ERCP: REQUIRED
Local Provider - PREFERRED - will not cover flights
DEA: REQUIRED at time of start
No malpractice REQUIRED no exceptions for quick credentialing
Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Doc Time - no timesheets will be approved

Employee Health Requirement

a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season

b. Covid documentation - If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed

c. TB - 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months

d. TB Questionnaire

e. Hep B - titer with quantifiable numbers or declination

f. MMR - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers

g. Varicella - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers

h. TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
