Role Description
Role Description:
As a Technical Lead - Business Analysis at Incedo you will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with stakeholders to identify and solve business problems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering and analysis efforts ensuring that all stakeholders needs are understood and translated into clear concise and complete requirements
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis to identify potential risks issues and opportunities related to proposed changes or solutions
Develop and maintain project documentation including business requirements functional specifications process flows use cases and user stories
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers testers and project managers to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams
Conduct business process modeling and analysis to identify areas for process improvement
Develop and maintain domain knowledge in the business area(s) supported by the organization
Participate in the development and implementation of business analysis best practices and standards.
Technical Skills
Skills Requirements:
Core Skills & Expertise
- Requirement elicitation and documentation (Functional & Technical)
- Backlog prioritization EPIC and story writing
- UML diagrams (Use Case Activity Sequence)
- Wireframes / Mock-ups creation
- Effort estimation
- Data analysis data mapping and data flow diagrams
- Basic SQL queries for data validation
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio Figma / Balsamiq / Axure RP
- Exposure to GenAI tools (ChatGPT Co-pilot) for BA day-to-day tasks
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Impact analysis for change requests
- Functional BA testing and driving UAT phase
Domain Expertise
- US Banking system Credit Cards Business Banking and Payments
- Working knowledge of US banking credit card systems (Consumer Business Secured etc.)
- Experience with Business Banking and Payments systems
Communication & Coordination
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in stakeholder management across business technology and vendor teams
- Drives end-to-end project requirements (gathering documentation sign-off change management)
- Conducts workshops walkthroughs and daily stand-ups
- Facilitates key milestones (Requirement sign-off UAT planning go-live support)
- Acts as liaison between business technology operations and compliance teams
- Proactive in identifying risks issues and dependencies
- Experience in global delivery model and managing distributed teams
- Supports training and handover activities
Effort Estimation Skills
- Ability to estimate effort at story epic and project level
- Familiarity with function points / story points estimation
- Collaborates with development and QA teams for refining estimates
- Supports re-estimation during scope changes
Agile Practices (Scrum Kanban Scaled Agile)
- Hands-on experience in Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives)
- Exposure to Kanban for support and maintenance phases
- Ensures story alignment with Definition of Ready / Done
Works closely with Product Owner and Scrum Master
Nice-to-have skills
Qualifications
Qualifications
6-9 years of work experience in relevant field
or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
