Head of Data

We are seeking a Head of Data to lead our business unit during a pivotal phase of growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions at Inetum Portugal this high-impact role will be responsible for developing the Data business building and leading a talented team and driving strategic projects for top-tier clients across Portugal. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with deep expertise in data strategy ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions that support our clients digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Data & AI strategy aligning business objectives with cutting-edge technological innovations in coordination with global Solutions teams.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 250 specialists fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Business Development: Strengthen client relationships identify growth opportunities and ensure service excellence.
• Innovation & Transformation: Drive the adoption of disruptive solutions that deliver value for clients and society.
• Financial Management: Own the P&L for the unit ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive teams and business units to integrate Data & AI solutions across the organization.
• Partnership Development: Build strategic partnerships with key market players including hyperscalers data cloud platforms AI vendors training centers and industry communities.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience leading Data & AI or related technology business units in consulting or integration environments.
• Strong track record in managing large diverse teams and delivering results.
• Exceptional business development and client management skills across sectors such as banking telecom industry retail public administration and healthcare.
• Deep knowledge of the Data & AI ecosystem and emerging technology trends.
• Experience managing multi-million-euro budgets and complex operations.
• Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution in dynamic competitive environments.
• Passion for driving innovation and creating societal impact through technology.
