What youll be doing

The Manager Sponsorship Marketing will contribute to the implementation and execution of sponsorship programs across our regional and sport portfolios.

Reporting to the Senior Director Sponsorship while working closely with all team members to ensure best in class experiences with a focus on driving positive outcomes for our bank all within a highly collaborative mindset.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.

How youll succeed

  • Own and document inbound sponsorship requests tabling with appropriate team members and tracking responses.
  • Manage ticketing and attendee tracking across the Sponsorship portfolio with the responsibility for the allocation and distribution of all Sponsorship tickets for Sport and Entertainment partnerships.
  • Ownership of Sponsorship deal-point tracker for multi-year Sponsorship contracts.
  • Manage and track hosting components for all sport sponsorship events including; invitation development ticket distribution merchandising support in association with events and more.
  • Primary point person for sponsorship with Multi-media for development of all program invitations facilitating appropriate approvals prior to client distribution.
  • Maintain the Executive Calendar working with internal partners.
  • Support other sponsorship and marketing initiatives as required.
  • Demonstrate professionalism simplicity and caring in all interactions and deliverables.

  • 35 years of experience in collaborative roles engaging with multiple partners to drive organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated effective planning execution and delivery of initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail consistently delivering thorough and high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactive in driving projects to timely completion maintaining accountability and momentum.
  • Take initiative and effective problem-solving skills identifying and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Highly organized able to manage multiple priorities and maintain structured workflows.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including: The ability to influence stakeholders and foster consensus strong written capabilities supporting recommendations with insights and a positive and enthusiastic attitude contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic perspective consistently delivering value through business-focused thinking and results oriented approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset actively supporting group success.
  • Proficient in Excel Outlook and Word for preparing reports tracking progress and supporting operational needs.
