Commercial Auto Claims Examiner - Property Damage Only (Remote)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Auto Claims Examiner to join a team. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work from the comfort of home while contributing to a dynamic and professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling non-litigated commercial auto claims focusing exclusively on property damage (PD) claims. This role requires a strong background in commercial auto claims handling excellent analytical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75000 - $85000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities
As a Commercial Auto Claims Examiner your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of 135-160 claims including first and third-party property damage claims.
- Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues.
- Reviewing estimates evidence reports and other relevant documentation.
- Handling total loss fire theft and glass claims.
- Establishing damages and reserves and processing payments.
- Taking recorded statements from insureds claimants and witnesses.
- Maintaining claim files in accordance with best practices.
- Obtaining and maintaining all required state adjuster licenses (support provided for obtaining additional licenses as needed).
- Collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure efficient and effective claims resolution.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience handling commercial auto claims with a preference for candidates with experience in total loss claims and cargo claims.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid home state adjuster license and be eligible to obtain licenses in Texas and Florida (company will cover licensing costs).
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in investigating coverage and writing coverage letters.
- Experience presenting files in roundtable discussions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with salvage platforms is a plus.
