Position Summary
MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Mobile Plumber to oversee and maintain plumbing systems across multiple facilities in the Dallas TX area. This role is responsible for the daily operation preventative maintenance and corrective repair of water and sewer systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise work independently with minimal supervision and support additional maintenance activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Operate maintain and repair facility plumbing systems including water and sewer systems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plumbing equipment and infrastructure
Conduct backflow testing and certifications (training reimbursement available)
Anticipate potential system issues and take proactive steps to maintain asset condition
Plan layout assemble install test maintain and repair a wide variety of plumbing systems
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues accurately and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics
Communicate effectively with clients and maintenance staff to ensure safe and compliant completion of work
Safely operate hand tools shop tools and power equipment
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time using the CMMS system
Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean safe and efficient condition
Adhere strictly to all safety policies OSHA standards and local codes
Work independently with minimal supervision and proactively communicate with management
Assist with other maintenance tasks and trades as required
Physical Work Conditions
Ability to work in confined spaces and on building roofs
Subject to on-call duties including after-hours work and overtime as required
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Ability to work at heights and climb ladders (300 lb. ladder weight limit) while carrying tools
Frequent climbing bending kneeling stooping lifting and overhead work
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold)
Ability to drive for extended periods
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or state equivalent
Valid state drivers license (must be maintained)
Plumbing Journeymans license and/or State Plumbing License
Backflow certification or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment
Knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable local plumbing codes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physically capable of operating tools climbing ladders lifting heavy loads and operating a motor vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of overall MEP system design and application
Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology
Prior experience in a service-related role within commercial facilities
